How to Look After Your Jewellery
To keep your jewellery looking its best and lasting for years to come, we recommend following the care guidelines below based on the type of jewellery you own.
Costume / Fashion Jewellery (Base Metal)
Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wear to remove oils and moisture.
Avoid water, perfumes, sprays, and cleaning products, as base metals are more prone to tarnishing and plating wear.
Remove jewellery before sport, physical activity, or manual work to prevent scratches, bending, or stone loss.
Do not submerge in water or expose to excessive heat.
Store separately in a cool, dry place to avoid scratching and prolong the life of the plating.
All of our costume jewellery is supplied with a protective pouch for storage.
Sterling Silver Jewellery
Clean regularly using a soft, dry polishing cloth to help prevent tarnish.
Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, hairspray, and products containing alcohol or petroleum, as these can cause discolouration.
Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, or doing heavy physical work.
Avoid exposure to rapid changes in temperature or humidity.
Store in a cool, dry place when not being worn—ideally in an airtight pouch or jewellery box to slow tarnishing.
All of our sterling silver jewellery comes beautifully boxed and includes a polishing cloth, care card, and protective pouch to help you keep your piece in perfect condition.
