People

We are proud to work with a dynamic community of people, from those we employ to those in our supply chain and the wider community.  Here’s our commitment to them:

  • TLKE is committed to developing an organisational culture that supports internationally recognised human rights as defined by the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights

  • We promote equal opportunity and diversity across our team so our staff can work with dignity and respect.  We are committed to running a business that is a safe, healthy and empowering place to be.

  • We only work with suppliers that share our values.  This means they adhere to national legislation on working hours and fair pay, ensure employment is freely chosen, do not tolerate forced or child labour, uphold freedom of association and collective bargaining, prevent discrimination and harassment, and provide a safe workplace.

2025-2030 Objectives

Employee Wellbeing and Support

In 2019, TLKE introduced an Employee Assistance Programme, providing employees with access to a confidential helpline covering emotional health, physical health, wellbeing resources and work–life balance support. TLKE commits to maintaining and reviewing this programme to ensure continued relevance and accessibility for all employees.

Fair Pay and Living Wage Commitment

TLKE is a certified Living Wage Employer and commits to maintaining fair and equitable pay practices. Compensation and benefits will be reviewed regularly to ensure alignment with the real cost of living and industry benchmarks.

Health, Balance and Sustainable Working Practices

TLKE supports employee health and work–life balance through a formal wellbeing programme, including paid wellbeing days available to all employees. The business is committed to promoting sustainable working practices that support long-term wellbeing.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Workplace Culture

TLKE is committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace. The business maintains fair recruitment, development and progression practices and regularly reviews people policies to promote equity, inclusion and employee engagement.

Community Engagement and Social Impact

TLKE commits to delivering positive community impact through long-term charitable partnerships aligned with its values. Employees are offered the opportunity to give up a paid working day to support charitable causes, alongside regular financial contributions and employee-led fundraising initiatives.

TLKE was thrilled to support Choose Love at their inspiring pop-up store from 18 November to 24 December 2025. We donated best-selling pieces from our sustainable jewellery collections, Augusta and George, helping to support Choose Love’s vital work. The video below captures a short snapshot of the pop-up and the spirit of the collaboration.
